Stepping Into the Shade: Uncovering the History of Connecticut Tobacco is a multi-episode documentary series that explores the story of Connecticut tobacco farming and how it became the home of the best cigar wrapper in the world. The series follows host June Archer as he meets with historians and individuals who toiled in the soil and learns that there is dynamic story behind Connecticut tobacco. The film is produced by ECSU Performing Arts faculty members Brian Day and Kristen Morgan.
