Professor Jacqueline Abbott, along with her friends and colleagues, created the Abbott Endowed Scholarship to honor her more than 30 years of service to the Eastern community. It is awarded to nontraditional students with financial need who wish to pursue a career in the field of education.
The Lombard Endowed Scholarship was established to honor the retirement of Professor John Lombard in recognition of his career as a distinguished Professor of Economics at Eastern for more than 30 years, and is awarded to students majoring in Economics.
Thanks to the generosity of the Jeffrey P. Ossen Family Foundation, your gift to either the Abbott Scholarship or the Lombard Scholarship this year will be doubled!
