In honor of your reunion, please consider making a gift to the Francis E. and Dorothy M. Geissler Memorial Endowed Scholarship.
Friends and colleagues of Francis E. Geissler initially funded this scholarship in honor of his retirement in 1977, following many years of service as an Eastern administrator and coach. With the passing of both Dorothy and Francis, the name of this scholarship was changed to the Francis E. and Dorothy M. Geissler Memorial Endowed Scholarship to honor the contributions to Eastern of both Francis and his wife of 67 years. This award is for a student who has completed two years at Eastern, is going to be a junior, has a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better, and has made an outstanding contribution to the college community through leadership in extra-curricular activities.
The Geisslers had a tremendous impact on countless Eastern students, and this endowed scholarship is one more way of honoring them while making a difference for our students for years to come. As the principal of the Geissler Fund grows, more students will get the financial help they need to finish their degrees at Eastern!
