55th Reunion of the W.S.C. Class of 1965

In honor of your reunion, please make a gift to the Paul Burton Memorial Scholarship Fund or to the Juliette Burstermann Endowed Scholarship Fund.

The Burton Scholarship honors the memory of Paul Burton ’99 who majored in computer science and is awarded annually to an Eastern student who is physically challenged and/or is majoring in computer science.  The Class of 1965 has been generously supporting this scholarship for the past twenty years!

When Dr. Burstermann joined the staff of W.S.T.C. in 1948, she became the first African American college professor in New England.  She was the first chairperson of the elementary education department and was known as a consummate professional who gave her absolute best to her students.  Thanks to the generosity of the Jeffrey P. Ossen Family Foundation, your gift to the Burstermann Endowment this year will be doubled!

As the principal of these two endowments grow, more students will get the financial help they need to finish their degrees at Eastern!

Please consider a gift of $100 or more, or whatever you can afford.  If you have questions, please contact the Office of Alumni Affairs at (860) 465-5302, or at [email protected].

Congratulations on reaching the milestone of your 55th Reunion, and thank you for your support of your Alma Mater!
