CLASS OF 2015 5TH REUNION UPDATE
The COVID-19 virus has dramatically changed our daily lives and is impacting Eastern Connecticut State University. To limit transmission of the virus, Eastern has cancelled all campus events for the remainder of the spring semester, including our 15th Annual Eastern Celebrates alumni reunion event on Saturday, May 16. I share your disappointment in not being able to see each other on May 16th but look forward to being with you again as soon as we are able.
Our faculty are busy teaching students, who are currently taking online courses for the balance of the semester. Though they are not on campus, students’ unmet financial needs — textbooks, living expenses, and other costs — remain foremost on the minds of those of us who are responsible for raising private funds from friends of the University like yourself. In support of our current students and to honor your reunion class, I ask you to consider making a reunion gift to an endowed scholarship or to the Annual Fund by June 30, 2020. Every gift makes a difference, no matter the size. Our goal is to help our most vulnerable students get through this unprecedented moment in our history. Your support will help us ensure that students with unmet financial need are prepared to complete their education — we will get past COVID-19!
