The Dr. Ann Marie Orza Endowed Scholarship
The Dr. Ann Marie Orza Endowed Scholarship was established in 2005 by Dr. Ann Marie Orza, professor emerita, who taught for many years in the Psychology Department at Eastern. This scholarship is awarded to a student who has a major or minor in Women and Gender Studies and/or a student who has made a contribution in the area of human rights.
The Dr. Marcia P. McGowan Endowed Scholarship for Excellence in Women’s and Gender Studies
Launched in 2011 through the generosity of Marcia McGowan, professor emeritus in English and Women’s and Gender Studies, the Dr. Marcia P. McGowan Endowed Scholarship for Excellence in Women’s and Gender Studies is awarded to students majoring or minoring in Women’s and Gender Studies and demonstrating achievement through either research or the practice of principles in which this interdisciplinary subject is grounded.
