Help us meet our goal of raising $250,000 this fiscal year!
As Eastern students work diligently to make their dreams a reality, we urge our alumni to make a gift to the following fund.
Business Information Systems Fund
Donations earmarked for the “Business Information Systems Fund” will be directed to support the BIS Academic Program and the related BIS-ITSA student club for the following priorities:
- IT equipment, hardware, and software
- BIS student undergraduate research and program worker roles
- PC Refurb Project (giving donated, club student refurbished, PCs to area nonprofits)
- Website and database projects with area nonprofits
- Presenting and competing at the club’s national conference
- Discounts towards professional BIS certifications such as through CompTIA, Microsoft, Project Management Institute, and IBM.
Donations to the BIS Program and Club funds will also enable the department or the club to sponsor special events and guest speakers. We greatly appreciate the support and involvement of BIS Program Alumni!
Thank you again for your support! Best wishes!
Dr. Alex Citurs – BIS Program Coordinator, BIS Faculty, & BIS Students
Note: The national name for students for AITP (Association of Information Technology Professionals) has been changed to ITSA (Information Technology Students of America). The club name is now BIS-ITSA.
